Privacy policy

This policy explains how Climbers GA Pro App ("the tool"), an internal tool operated by Climbers Hub, handles data. The tool is used only by members of our own team to manage our own advertising.

Data the tool accesses

• Google account sign-in. When a team member connects the tool, Google returns an OAuth token that lets the tool call the Google Ads API (and, for video uploads, the YouTube Data API) on their behalf. We do not receive or store passwords.
• Google Ads data. Account names and IDs, campaigns, ad groups, ads, assets, conversion actions and performance metrics of the accounts the user already has access to.
• YouTube. The tool uploads the team's own creative videos to the team's own channels and reads their processing status.

How the data is used

Only to provide the tool's features: creating and managing App campaigns, showing reports, applying the team's bidding rules and removing disapproved assets. We do not use Google user data for advertising profiles, and we do not sell or transfer it to data brokers or other third parties.

Where it is stored

The tool runs on the user's own computer. OAuth tokens, settings, logs and cached reports are stored in a local application folder on that computer and are not sent to any Climbers Hub server. Removing the tool and that folder deletes them.

AI writing assistance

If a user turns on AI features, the tool may send creative files, app store text and ad text, along with aggregated performance of ad text lines, to the AI service the user has chosen (for example Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude) to draft ad copy. No OAuth tokens or credentials are ever sent.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

A user can disconnect the tool at any time by removing its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
